Geneva on the Lake
It was expected to be a calm day going from Erie PA to our next stop. We were rejected for a slip in Ashtabula OH, 36 miles, so we pressed on 10 more miles to Geneva on the Lake. It was calm when we started the gradually winds picked up out of the north across the side of the boat. We added sail assist and as wind picked up, went to all sail power. We came across other sailboats heading roughly in the same direction. When two or more sailboats are going the same way it's considered a race. We would have needed a high handicap to win. We motored the last part as the winds died again.
